Made from asana, ashwatha, haridra , amalakki , gokshura, this again is an effective herbal medicine to control the complications of the disease.

Hypothesis say that these drugs have direct stimulation on organs of our body like the spleen, liver etc.. This may be the reason for the stimulation of the Islets of langerhams (the gland which produce insulin in the body), and thereby contolling the complication of the disease. Although we cannot claim to completely cure the disease since it is a chrocic disease(Yapya Vyadhi). We can very well control the disease with this medicine. In case where the disease occur due to the absense of the hormone producing glands or there is a complete damage to the receptors of sugar molecules in the body and similar situations results will not be obtained

clinical trials

Patients were administered with dioset for 45 days at a dose of one capsule thrice daily. 55% of the patients responded within 20 days of taking the medicine. 30% responded after 1 month, 10% could reduce the dose of insulin / allopathic medicines and rest showed no result.

However most of the patient reported a "feeling of energy" and decrease in the associated symptoms like numbness etc.
Overdose

No adverse reactions are seen if taken in overdose.

Safety

A safe drug which can be taken along with allopathic treatment / insulin and also as a medicine to control the complication of the disease without any side effects.

INDICATION : CONTROL THE COMPLICATION OF THE DISEASE

DOSAGE : 2-3 CAPSULES PER DAY BEFORE FOOD OR AS DIRECTED BY THE PHYSICIAN.

NOTES/ FAQ : PATIENTS ON ALLOPATHIC TREATMENT ARE ADVICED TO TAKE DIOSET ALONG WITH THE EXISTING TREATMENT AND REDUCE THE DOSAGE OF THE ALLOPATHIC MEDICINE SLOWLY.
