Bhrungaraja or Eclipta alba is a simple herb with a multitude of health benefits. The liver is the center of metabolism in our body. It purifies the blood and cleanses the body of metabolic toxins. Bhrungarajasava is a traditional formula with Bhrngaraja as its signature ingredient. It is an excellent blood purifier and endows the individual with healthy skin and hair.

Key ingredients and their properties

BHRUNGARAJ (Eclipta Alba )

Also known as ‘False daisy’ in English, it is a  herb, that is hugely recommended for growing long, silky and strong hair. Bhringaraj being a potent hair vitalizer has a host of bioactive constituents including flavonoids and phytochemicals . Oil processed with Bhringraj reduces inflammation of the hair follicles, scalp tenderness, alleviates scalp itching and increases hair growth.

PIPPALI (Piper longum)

Pippali is known as ‘tridoshic’ herb as it suits all body types. Thus regular consumption of pippali in suggested quantity can help you to immune your body to quiet an extent. Pippali has Anti-microbial, Anti-inflammatory activity. Consumption of pippali is said to exhibit anti spasmodic action and hypoglycaemic effect which is believed to lower blood sugar level. It is also reported to be antagonist in respiratory depression. Also due to its cooling post-digestive effect consumption of pippali is considered as a safe and effective option to avoid all sorts of digestive disorders.

JATHIPHALA(Myristica fragrans)

According to Ayurveda, it balances the Vatha and Kapha dosha. It is a good digestive, and has properties of removing phlegm. It is also good for the skin.

PATRA(Cinnamomum tamala)

Also called Tejpatta, and Tejpat, in English, named as Indian Bay Leaf, and botanically Cinnamomum Tamala) is an Indian spice as well as ayurvedic medicine. Additionally, it stimulates the digestive enzymes, which helps to improve the digestion of food and increases the bioavailability of the nutrients during the digestion process in the intestine.

NAGAKESARA(Messua ferrea)
