Nalikerasava is a traditional recipe found mentioned in the text Bhaishajya ratnavali. It is deeply nourishing and restores strength and vitality to the body ravaged by disease, age, or mental stress. It stabilizes ‘Ojas’ in the individual and ensures a healthy progeny. The combination soothes the dry heat and emaciation brought about by Vata-pitta derangement in the body.

Asavas are mildly alcoholic preparations. The sweet taste makes it palatable to kids and adults alike. The alcohol base makes it quick-acting and efficient.

Combination of Narikela (Cocos nucifera), Shalmali (Salmalia malabarica), Gambhari (Gmelina arborea), Bilwa (Aegle marmelos), Ikshu (Saccharum officnarum), Madhuka (Madhuca longifolia), Patala (Stereospermum suaveolens), Dunduka (Oroxylum indicum), Agnimantha (Premna corymbosa), Brihati (Solanum indicum), Kantakari (Solanum surattense), Prusniparni (Desmodium gangeticum), Gokshura (Tribulus terrestrius) and Kumkuma (Crocus sativum) in a mildly alcoholic base.

Enhances sexual health, vitality and vigor. Nalikerasava has been hailed by Ayurvedic texts for nurturing and stabilizing the Ojas in an individual.

Improves ovarian health & stimulates ovulation. Hormonal balance is indispensable for timely ovulation and fertilization of the ovum.

Improves skin tone, texture and complexion. Maintains skin health. Beneficial in the treatment of skin pigmentation. Revives dull, tired and sallow skin.

Adult: 25-30 ml twice or thrice daily after food.

Child: 10-15 ml once or twice daily after food.

NARIKELA (Cocos nucifera)

GAMBARI ( Gmelina arborea)

VILWA (Aegle marmelos) 

The Bael tree or Bilva (in Sanskrit) is an ancient Ayurvedic tree known for its spiritual and medicinal importance. It is one of the Dashamoola (group of ten roots) herbs. Belpatra is said to have anti-inflammatory properties and can be applied on any inflamed region for quick relief. Bael is said to have anti-fungal and anti-viral properties, due to which it is used in treating a number of infections in our body.

IKSHU (Saccharum officinarum.)

Commonly known as sugarcane. Its roots are used for therapeutic purposes. Having properties aphrodisiac (arouse sexual desires), laxative, cooling, demulcent, antiseptic, and tonic. Sugarcane juice is very useful in jaundice conditions.

YASHTI (Glycyrrhiza glabra) 

Yashtimadhu is beneficial in treating acid peptic disease. It reduces gastric acid secretion and inhibits the formation of peptic ulcers. It is also one of the world’s most widely researched herbs for its role in supporting the body’s normal digestive function. Useful in Hyperacidity, Useful in Peptic ulcer, Useful in Gastro-Esophageal Reflux Disease (GERD).

PATALA ( Stereospermum suaveolens)

The herb is highly effective in purifying the blood. It also treats burns, wounds, reduces blisters, and provides relief from pain and burning sensation.

BRIHATI (Solanum indicum )

The use of Brihati in this oil helps reduce Vata disorders. It treats different types of skin infections and nourishes and rejuvenates the skin.

KANTAKARI (Solanum virginianum)

The Kusthahara property of this herb holds high value in treating skin diseases, helping in wound healing, and promoting skin health. Yellow Berried Nightshade is one of the chief ingredients in Dashamoola Rasayanam, an Ayurvedic preparation for the treatment of respiratory ailments. The herb is also a digestive and carminative, which facilitates the treatment of gastrointestinal problems.

AGNIMANTHA(Premna integrefolia)

The extracts of Agnimantha play a vital role in improving skin glow, and texture. It prevents dark circles, blemishes, breakouts, scars left after the healing of acne, suntans, and various signs of aging and provides a natural radiance to the skin.

PRISHNIPARNI (Uraria picta)

Prishniparni is a well-known medicinal herb of Ayurveda. In Ayurveda, it is used in the treatment of asthma, dysentery, delirium, ulcers, malarial fevers, fractures of bones, inflammation of chest and diarrhea, catarrhs, bleeding piles, and many other ailments. The roots of the plants mainly contain alkaloids, saponins, flavonoids, glycosides, proteins, steroids, tannins and phytosterols.

KUMKUMA (Crocus sativum) 

As suggested by the name, the main ingredient in this oil is the red thread-like pollen particles obtained from the vibrant purple-colored saffron flower which goes by the botanical name Crocus sativus. Saffron threads rich in antioxidants are famous for lightening skin color and improving complexion. The potent warming and kantivardhaka properties of saffron normalize the Pitta and Vata doshas.
